GEarthView es un imprescindible plugin que permite hacer una vista sincronizada de un despliegue en Quantum GIS sobre Google Earth.
Como instalar el plugin
Para instalarlo, hay que seleccionar: Complementos > Administrar complementos y buscarlo, tal como se muestra en la imagen.
Una vez instalado el plugin, se puede visualizar en la barra de herramientas.
Como sincronizar la vista en Google Earth
Una vez instalado en plugin, si queremos mostrar este despliegue, se selecciona la opción «GEarthView». Google Earth debe estar instalado, aunque no es necesario que esté iniciada la ejecución.
Como resultado tendremos la capa en forma de wms, en Google Eath.
El servicio se muestra como imagen, pero con opción a mostrar datos al hacer clic, así como un wms.
Es interesante, que se van las propiedades de despliegue, tal como transparencia, orden de capas, etc.
En el video se puede apreciar el funcionamiento.
Muy bueno este post. Gracias a Roberto por el dato de las librerias Zope y Twisted. No podia instalarlas ni hacer funcionar este plugginn.
Hablando con el creador del plugin, me ha enviado este correo:
1) QGIS view moves according with GoogleEarth view
2) GoogleEarth view center coordinates (with Z ! ) now displayed on QGIS status bas
3) QGIS can place datapoints taken from GoogleEarth view center
4) GoogleEarth display the quote Z of point at view center
5) GoogleEarth and QGIS have a QrCode for each point saved
What is the bad new ? Only this: you need to install two new python libraries:
twisted
zope
Hola no me funciona el plugins, me da un error, dice que estaa roto, estoy trabajando con la version 2.4 de QGis, instalado en Windows 7 de 64 bits.
¿Que pasos debería seguir, hay que instalar algo mas y como lo hago?

If you are on Windows, you need to install them inside the Apps/Python/site-packages of QGIS.
